Commando Battalions now on Board 

Last Courier you saw how the Lord introduced this new department into Prayer Canada. The first Boys Commando Battalion and the first Girls Commando Battalion. These 11 year olds are now building their battalions. Still 11 years seems to be the key “Double No. 1”

We still  need to get the details in place and registrations in order to be able to issue their personal leather identification bracelets for girls - belt shields for boys. If you know of an 11 year old who wants to join the Prayer Canada “Prayer Commandos” please let us know. Name, address, birth date and we will send them our application form.

These young people have their own prayer meetings. We send them a general outline of areas they can be concerned about. They can lead their friends to accept Jesus then encourage them to become a Prayer Commando for the Lord. “The Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Heb.4:12)

Then of course we are reminded of Joel, those 3 chapters tell about the last day army. In chapter 2:28 ‘and it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh and your sons and daughters shall prophesy and your old men shall dream dreams and your young men shall see visions.’ Earlier in verses 7,8,11 - ‘these soldiers charge like infantry, they scale the walls like picked and trained commandos. Straight forward they march, never breaking ranks. They never crowd each other. Each is right in place. No weapon can stop them. The Lord leads them with a shout. This is His mighty army and they follow His orders.’

What a glorious future for all of us if we obey His commands as 1 Tim.2:1-4 and of course the guarantee of 2 Chron.7:14. ‘If My people’. He is only talking to Christians, ‘will follow His orders’ He will heal our land.

Whether you are 11 years, 50 years or 100 years as Isa. 65:20 clearly expresses, we are the Lord’s army. In Him victory is assured.
